Experience the enchantment of a Victorian-inspired holiday season as "A Dickens Christmas" returns to Historic Biltmore Village in Asheville, North Carolina, this December! The main events occur Friday & Saturday, December 6th & 7th, 2024, with holiday entertainment happening every Saturday from 11AM - 3PM, November 30 - December 21. 

For the last 35 years, this annual holiday event has been delighting children of all ages and bringing the spirit of the holiday season to bear in Historic Biltmore Village. Step back in time with the magic and charm of Historic Biltmore Village, filled with Dickens carolers and live music, delicious holiday treats, beautiful local goods to finish off your holiday shopping, a special tree lighting, and gorgeous holiday lights after dark, for a truly unparalleled family experience. 

New this year: A Dickens Christmas will feature something for everyone - a special “Letters to Santa” experience for children, a Village holiday decoration contest, a holiday-themed scavenger hunt, Christmas carol karaoke, and a Scrooge impersonation contest, to name just a few.

Over two dozen Dickens-themed acts will be performing throughout Historic Biltmore Village, including dance groups, instrumental acts, and other roving entertainment. 

Enjoy holiday treats like gourmet hot chocolate and freshly roasted chestnuts from our favorite chestnut roaster!
